What do you do when a teacher you work with takes all of your work and posts it on Teachers Pay Teachers as their own? I have one teacher at school that I am very close with. She teaches the Spanish part of our dual language and I teach monolingual English. Her and I have been planning since the beginning of last year to make awesome things for this upcoming school year. One great idea we had was to make a HUGE Write Around the Room packet to last teachers throughout the year. Of course we were going to post it on TPT. The deal was that I would make half in English, she would make half in Spanish, we would trade and translate. Basically I would be selling the huge English packet and she would be selling the huge Spanish packet. We made a dozen or so throughout the year and have been making many more this summer. We love sharing with our grade level. LOVE IT! I honestly think we are the best grade level because we work so well together. Well, we had shared the dozen write around the rooms we had already created so they could use it in their classrooms. This morning I got online to find that one of the other teachers in our grade level took OUR hard work, put them in a packet AND IS SELLING THEM ON TPT!!!! This made me so sad… so I went to her store and what do I find??? SHE ALSO TOOK MY BEHAVIOR CHARTS AND IS SELLING THEM! Of course she changed the side that the parent tips are on but that is IT. I don’t know what to do. We are all supposed to go to dinner tonight and I am planning on saying something. I am so nervous it might start a fight. I mean, we all worked so well together and still have to! What happens if it gets crazy tonight??? I need help and advice… PLEASE!!!!
