– My husband’s grandpa died
– While we were out in Northern California for the funeral, Kyle had an emergency appendectomy
– Then had to get through the funeral and services. It was all pretty hard.
– Lacey got a doozy of a cold.
– We then got the bills for the surgery…. yikes.
– Then when we got home I had to rush to finish my December packet. Which I am so happy I got done!
It wasn’t until Thursday when things finally felt like they were turning around for the better.
We spent Thanksgiving at my parents house for the first time in a very long time! We usually spend it in California!
This little girl thought she was so cool because she went and stole an apple right out of my dad’s hands and made it her own. All anyone did was laugh because it was the cutest thing ever.
Friday was our North Pole breakfast. Complete with eggs, bacon, and DONUTS! Our scout elf, Dot, brought everything to us from the North Pole and Lacey squealed when she realized there was an ELF IN OUR TREE!
Lacey is obsessed with this ornament and she kisses it DAILY.
Oh, and I can’t forget that I completely binge watched the Gilmore Girls Revival whenever I had the chance. And the ending? Ahhhhhh! I know there won’t be more but I have hopes that the demand will be so high that they might try.
She had a meltdown when he stood up to give her a hug. It resulted in us taking her out to dinner to forget about it then trying again later. When that didn’t work it turned into an impromptu family photo where she wasn’t gonna smile AT ALL. Funny stuff! She sure looked cute in her Mrs. Claus outfit though. Her best bud Austin has a matching Santa suit and his mommy and I fully plan on parading them around town in their matching outfits together. They may hate us for it later in life but for now, it gives us mommies all of the happy tears! We are planning some super fun stuff for them in December and I can’t wait to share it.
I know December will be just as busy but hopefully not as awful as November was.
My goal is to get Christmas decor done TODAY. I usually get it done in a day or two but it’s so hard with a toddler!!!
I need some productive vibes today!
