HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!!
Today’s Show and Tell Tuesday is all about MY LOVES! Which is perfect for this beautiful Valentine’s Day!
THIS is Lacey:
My darling, sweet girl.
They say you don’t know the deep feeling of love until you hold your child in your arms. This is so true. While parenting can be HARD, I love this girl with every fiber of my being and soul.
This stage with her is just so much fun! Her personality is really starting to show and she is trying to talk more which is hilarious within itself. She will run up to us now and spurt out what sounds like nonsense but it totally means something to her. It is the cutest.
I seriously cannot believe that she will be two soon. Where is the time going?!
THIS is my hubby Kyle:
We have been married for almost five years now (together for 8!), and this is another instance where I say “Where has the time gone?”
We are seriously the same person sometimes and I think that is why we fit together perfectly. We are homebodies, laid back, and have the same morals. It works out so well! I do not, however, have the same boy-ish sense of humor as him. You know the times where you look at a guy who just said a joke that he thinks is HILARIOUS and you either roll your eyes or yell “GROSS!” Yeah, that’s my husband.
We love to travel and hope to show our daughter the world and excitement of seeing new places. We are hoping she LOVES Hawaii this summer. Her latest obsession is Lilo and Stitch and I keep telling her that’s the island we will be going to (all while trying to hide my annoyance that she wants me to put the movie on for the umpteenth time… it is NOT one of my favorites).
Anyhoo, back to the hubby. He 100% supports my decision to stay and work from home. He works his butt off to make that a possibility for me and Lacey and I couldn’t thank him enough for it.
THESE are our pooches:
Sydney and Bruiser
We are the type that treat pets like royalty. You get them to be a part of your family so in my opinion you should treat them as such. If they want to sit on the couch or sleep on the bed, fine by us! I keep telling myself that I need to make a sign that says “Get over the dog hair…. they live here, you don’t.”
With that being said, dog hair might make me go crazy. BUT one day it might be gone, and I don’t ever want that day to come. It is just a fashion accessory at this point.
Now if I could just get them to not go psychotic when we leave or when and another animal is in our front yard…..
Well there you have it. My loves, my world. We make a great team and I love them all to death!!!!!
