Not this year obviously but it is my GOAL to make it to next year’s. I have envied all of the teachers for the past few years when it started. I had my teaching job and teaching PD to go to so it never bothered me too much. Now that TPT is my full time gig, I am dying to go. I need to better myself so that I can do my best at my job. I can only do that by learning from all the amazing ladies that are top sellers!
I talked to my hubby about it. We always go on some sort of vacation each year so I thought it would be perfect to plan it around next year’s TPT conference. Since this year’s conference is in Orlando (AT DISNEY WORLD!!! ARGHHHH) I can only hope next year is the same or in a just as amazing place. Teacher meet ups are happening AT DISNEY. I am so jealous.
The only bummer is the price tag to join the conference. Yikes.
I keep telling myself that after learning so much, I can make that money back with my TPT store.
I will be honest, I 100% slacked the past year with TPT. I made things here and there but nothing extravagant. It was mostly custom requests and my yearly items. That changes now. I have such determination to work my butt off and start saving for next year. I am hoping to be able to pay for our whole trip and my entrance fee all with TPT.
It is so much harder than I ever thought to work on this stuff with a baby. I envisioned her playing cutely next to me while I worked away. Yeah… not the case. You mommies out there get me. I can pretty much only get things done during a nap. My other downfall is that I am a huge procrastinator. I will get online, check my email, check pinterest, etc. You know the drill. Then when I get to my TPT products, I spend maybe 20 minutes and then my daughter wakes up. It’s no wonder I am not getting much done.
I have decided to make Tuesdays my official work day. No cleaning, no laundry, no TV. Apart from when my daughter is up, I will be working only on my TPT products. I seriously have a notebook of ideas that haven’t even been attempted. I need to GET IT DONE.
TPT Conference 2017 here I come!
