I am trying so hard to get back into the swing of things, but let me tell you, I am failing miserably. Throughout the year, I carried around my handy little notebook that I would jot down ideas in. They were ideas that ranged from changing a lesson for the following year to things I wanted to create to support a lesson better and packets to put on TPT. Towards the end of the year, I would look at all of my notes and would get so excited about getting organized and checking off all of the items on my very long to-do list. Fast forward to today. Have I checked off at least one item? NO. Summer started and after some traveling, the couch and a good book just called my name. EVERY. DAY. I made a commitment to myself last Sunday. “I WILL start school work tomorrow and get things done!!!” Well that didn’t happen so here I am today with the same resolution. I still cannot get the creative juices flowing! Send me some powerful excited-teacher-vibes to help boost the flow. ‘Cause let me tell ya, this giant cup of coffee ain’t doin’ it.
