Back to School time is daunting. You need to get your classroom together, attend professional development, meet with your team…. basically the list could go on and on.
So while you are in charge of all of those shenanigans, I have got you covered when it comes to organization and prep for the first couple of weeks – and better than that, it is all FREE!
Stay on track with parent communication from the start
Newsletters and Calendars make parent communication easy. With editable features, you can easily plug in your information, print, and go!
Organize yourself with behavior documentation
If I had to pick my all time favorite resource I used in my classroom, it would have to be my behavior calendars. They don’t require you to have a clip chart or anything like that, they just require some sort of color code that you communicate with parents. These are a perfect way to keep students accountable without posting their progress for the class to see. Read more about how I used these throughout the years here.
Learn students’ names in a breeze
Name tags are a perfect way to learn your students’ names the first weeks of school… and not to mention they are a great way to take attendance! Place them in a bowl and pass them out as students walk in. Whatever is left over are your absent kiddos!!!
They can also be a way to see who students belong with which teacher while on the playground or at lunch. Have each teacher print their name tags out on a certain color of Astrobrights. For Example: Mrs. Wright is purple, Mrs. Smith is orange, Ms. Campos is yellow and so on. When you guys know each teacher’s color, it is easy to spot these kiddos and point them in the right direction if need be.
Also included is home transportation info!!!
Tackle important social skills in the first weeks of school
And yes… This is all FREE! By signing up to be a part of The Wright Nook Emails, you can get this in your inbox TODAY.
Plus in the future you will be set up to receive all the other freebies that I have planned! You won’t want to miss out on those 😉
