Happy Classroom Management Monday friends!!!
This Monday I am so excited to share with you something I have been working very hard on.
I have created a Classroom Management Guidebook just for you.
As much as it pains me to say it, the new school year is inching closer. While I know you are probably soaking up every bit of relaxation you can get, it is important to start thinking about some sort of plan for next year.
I used to fly by the seat of my pants when I first started teaching and for the most part, it worked okay for me. That was until I got a class of students who REALLY needed some structure. That ended up being the worst year I have ever had.
I do not want that for you. And I do not want you to wait until you have one of those classes for you to actually do something about it.
With that, the Guidebook was born.
There are TWO books in this pack – one for new teachers, and one for veteran teachers. So no matter where you are in your teaching career, there is a guidebook for you.
What will this guidebook do?
First off, you will dive deep into what you are doing or have done in the past. You will be thinking about whether these methods actually worked or not.
If you are a new teacher, you will reflect on student teaching and things taught in college to guide you!!!
After that, I share with you my classroom management plan. This is the plan that I used to create my ideal classroom. It is all laid out so that you can follow it exactly or even just use bits and pieces.
All that is included in my plan is:
- Social Skills
- Manners Lesson
- Lesson Reflection
- Discipline
- Consequences
- Behavior Calendars
- Absences and Tardiness
- Atmosphere
- Music In the Classroom
- Connect With Your Students
- Transitions and Time Management
- Keeping Your Room Tidy and Organized
- Classroom Jobs
- Seating Arrangements
- Brain Breaks
- Celebrate Your Students
If you are wanting to create something all your own, there is a space for that too! After my plan, there is a space to completely customize your own classroom management plan.
Don’t forget the bonuses!
With your Classroom Management Guidebook, you will also get a bonus folder. As of now there are forms, letters to parents, and even one of my BEST SELLERS: Behavior Calendars. I have big plans to continue to add to this bonus folder and as I do, the price will increase to reflect the additions – so keep that in mind if you are thinking about purchasing!
the bottom line…
The bottom line is that I want to help you with your classroom and behavior management journey. Let’s face it, teaching is tough these days! I am going to do whatever I can to try to make it easier on YOU!
So let me know, what do you think of the guidebook? Any questions about it? Feel free to leave a comment or email me!!!!
