I am so excited November is here! While parts of me wants this year to slow down, I am so excited for the Christmas season. I just know that I will blink and it will be over. This time of the year is just so busy!!!
Like the previous few months, I have created a packet of Math and Literacy Activities that will hopefully help you in your classroom during this busy time.
In this packet you will find many different activities that can be used in your math and literacy centers or used to compliment your math and literacy lessons.
Here is what is inside:
This is probably my favorite activity of the bunch! Your students will use their phonemic knowledge to add feathers to a turkey to complete it. With most of these kind of activities, sometimes the advanced kiddos think they are very easy just matching beginning sounds. Since I have had that in my classroom, I have added more challenging sounds. You can have your students build a turkey either using beginning sounds (all letters of the alphabet included), medial vowel sounds, digraphs (ch-, sh-, th-, wh-). and blends (sl-, fl-, gr-, br-, st-, sw-, fr-, dr-).
Your kiddos will have so much fun completing their turkey and then will have a fun piece to decorate your classroom or take home for decoration!
Your students will be able to build words using these puzzles, and practice writing them. With worksheets focusing on word families, your students will also work with rhyme. Included is an extra blank sheet that is great for those that have mastered their word families. Using the puzzle pieces, your student can make any word and draw a picture that matches.
Your students can practice comparing sets with this packet. Included are cards that contain ten frames so students can practice making their own sets that show more or less than the number given. Students can show their knowledge of this concept by completing the worksheets provided.
Your students can practice their writing skills with these sheets. With prompts that will cover important topics throughout the month, this will be a great addition to your writing lessons or as a center!
This is always such a fun activity!!! Students will use dice and complete different activities depending on what game they are playing. These can be done in a group or individually. Your kiddos could roll their dice and color the corresponding number, cover the number, or even draw a turkey using the body part that corresponds to the number. This is always such a fun game for kids.
If your kiddos need help with filling ten frames, this is a great activity to use. This is also a great tool for all levels of learning. Students can practice with numbers 1-9, 11-20, counting numbers in a ten frame, and even practice addition problems using numbers 1-9.
As always, I also include another favorite of mine, Write Around the Room!! I know you’ve read about my love for this before but I am saying it again: My kiddos LOVED to play scavenger hunt with this! Since they love it so much I HAVE to add it to all of my packs!
There it is! I know it will be a great addition to your resources. Click HERE to purchase
I also want to share something very special.
When I am done with the entire year set, I was planning to sell it as a bundle at a discounted rate. Instead of waiting, I thought it would be fun to start selling it now. And let me tell ya, this is something I think you should totally look into.
When this set is done, it will be sold for $54 when in actuality it is a $72 value!! Since I have only three months done so far, I am selling the whole bundle for only $20. With this $20, you will get FREE UPDATES of every month’s set until this is completely done. Every time I update the packet with a new resource, it will increase by $6 until it reaches it’s $54 total.
You guys, $20 is a STEAL right now and the cheapest you will get it. Only $20 for an entire year of activities! I am just so excited about this and I am doing it as a thank you to YOU!

To celebrate all of this, I would love to give my November Math and Literacy Activity set away to one of my followers! Enter below and GOOD LUCK!!!
These are such great activities! I especially love that there are BOTH math and literacy activities!
I like that the products are differentiated. 🙂
