Happy Monday y’all! I hope everyone had a great weekend – I did! I actually created a set of flashcards that I hope you can utilize. Every year I have had to find flash cards to send home for parents to work on with their children at home. Since I have been trying to make a lot of resources, I decided to make a flash card set of my own. It is comprised of the alphabet (upper and lowercase), high frequency words, numerals, written numbers, and colors. Basically it is a whole year of flashcards all in one spot. You can find this at my TPT store. Now on another note, I am in a bit of a freak-out mode. We just got word that we can’t go in to fix up our classrooms like planned next Monday. Usually school opens a week prior to our mandatory return so that we can set up our rooms. They do this because, as I am sure is the same as you guys, we have TONS of in-services and meetings the week before the kiddos return. The news that we can’t go in is devastating. They are doing construction at my school and apparently it is all just a mess. I am more worried than ever because I am changing rooms this year. I am going to be begging every helping hand I can find to come help. We will basically be able to work on our class from 4pm-8pm that week. Keep your fingers crossed for me that I get everything completed. EEK! (do not stress… do not stress… do not stress…)
I love your flashcards!! What a great idea! That sucks you can't get into your classroom sooner. I hope you are able to recruit lots of help!! Try not to stress too much. Everything always works out in the end.
Thank you so much!!! I am trying so hard not to stress out but it is hard not to!
