Happy Monday everyone! I am so glad you are here :) If you joined me last week, then you learned a little bit about why I am so passionate about helping you out. Today we will be talking about my NUMBER ONE tip. This is the ONE major thing that I stress to everyone when I talk about classroom management. We need to teach our students manners. I have told teachers this and I often times get mixed reactions. Some say "Yes, that makes sense! That is the problem; lack of respect." While others say "No, that isn't my job." Yes, we could say that it isn't our jobs. While it is true that manners used to be extremely important and usually taught at home, ... Read More
Classroom Management MONDAY #1
Hey, hey, heyyyy! You guys, I am SO EXCITED! Today marks the launch of my new series: Classroom Management Mondays. We all know this is a hard subject. It is a never-stopping-super-fast-revolving-door. It is something that requires constant change. It is something that requires flexibility. It is something that sometimes breaks us. I have dedicated countless hours researching all different types of classroom management for myself to make sure those hard truths listed above were easier for me. I wanted to be on top of the game when it came to this area. With more pressure and larger workloads being put on kiddos at younger ages, the socialization is ... Read More

So much ... Read More
January Math and Literacy Set
Good morning friends! How was your holiday?! Wonderful I hope :) Mine was by far the best Christmas I have ever had. When you become a parent it makes you not care so much about what you are getting for Christmas but only caring about how excited your child is! Watching Lacey get SO excited about her kitchen and immediately running over to it and start cooking was the best thing I had ever seen. It's moments like those that make being a mom the best thing in the world. Christmas Eve we opened our present of the Elf on a Shelf movie along with popcorn, candy, and hot Chocolate. I watched her the WHOLE time.... My heart was so unbelievably full at ... Read More
Snowman Day
Yesterday was one of those days where it feels like being a mom is the best job ever.. Last year my good friend Melissa and I saw a post about the 12 days of Christmas Boxes which is basically brilliance in my mind. While the activities planned are a little above where our kiddos are right now, we decided to pick a few themes and celebrate together. Our goal is to eventually work up to having these boxes for the kiddos. Actually, I think my personal goal is to have something for every day starting December 1st until Christmas Eve. Anyway, yesterday was Snowmen and I hosted! It was so much fun bringing out the teacher in me and prepping for ... Read More
