November Math and Literacy Activities
I am so excited November is here! While parts of me wants this year to slow down, I am so excited for the Christmas season. I just know that I will blink and it will be over. This time of the year is just so busy!!! Like the previous few months, I have created a packet of Math and Literacy Activities that will hopefully help you in your classroom during this busy time. In this packet you will find many different activities that can be used in your math and literacy centers or used to compliment your math and literacy lessons. Here is what is inside: This is probably my favorite activity of the bunch! Your students will use their ... Read More
Eliminate classroom job charts but keep the jobs! FREEBIE!
Confession: I hated my classroom job chart. Every day I would hear someone that caught my mistake of not changing the names. "Mrs. Wriiiiiiiight..... Jacob was the cubby person yesterdayyyy!!!" I always forgot to change those darn things. Then Kagan ideas came along and all of that changed. Kagan strategies are so popular in classrooms and I think they offer strategies every teacher should look into. Unfortunately I was never one of the lucky ones that got picked from our school to go to a conference. Fortunately for me though, I worked with some amazing teachers that came back and shared and taught us everything they ... Read More
October Math and Literacy Activities
This has got to be my favorite time of the year. When fall begins, everything changes. I take out my decorations and pretty much everything feels so much more special until after Christmas. This is also my favorite time to teach. I love when everything is themed for the holidays! The students love it even more, trust me. That is what inspired the center sets that I have been working on! I felt like my centers were always so plain. I decided to make some fun activities that were themed for the month and that means October is Halloween!!! I am so excited for this set! I lovvvvve Halloween stuff. It is just such a fun time for kids and I love seeing ... Read More
Erin Condren Planner
I have been a huge fan of Erin Condren for quite a few years now. It started out as a mild obsession a while back but I never could get myself to spend that much on a planner. One year I finally decided to dive into it all and start with a teaching planner. I figured it was more beneficial because I got the teaching stuff along with some of the essentials from the Life Planner. I loved it but after a while I realized I used more of the calendar area rather than the lesson planning portions because everything we did had to be electronic. You can read my Teacher Planner review HERE. The following year I tried the Life Planner and I haven't ... Read More
New blog design and my favorite new product!
You guyyyyysssss.... I have not had THIS much anticipation about something in a long while. Becca from Jumping Jax Designs finished my blog design and I seriously could not love it more. I get little hearts in my eyes every time I look at it. And can we all acknowledge what a huge rockstar Becca is??? She went into labor early, had her baby, and still made it a point to finish it all up. I told her to not to worry about it because I KNOW how crazy the first few weeks are. It didn't break her stride. Seriously, this woman is all kinds of amazing. Not only did I get this BEAUTIFUL blog-face-lift, but I finished a product that is currently my absolute ... Read More
